The trailer of Sacred Games Season 2 starts where it took a bang from the first season. At the end of the previous season, we have witnessed that Gaitonde being tortured in jail and Khanna Guruji came to rescue him from the situation.
The story will be continued in season 2, it will reveal the mysterious relationship between Ganesh Gaitonde and Guruji.
The trailer starts with a call from Gaitonde which extremely felt like a wake-up call for the viewers. A series of gunshots, bloodshed and violence will follow as same as the previous season. A still from the previous season was bought into the sense.
Gaitonde himself states that he did not know about his own whereabouts, all he wanted from all this time is an act of revenge.
We are then, taken back to the present scenario were we meet Inspector Sartaj Singh who continuous to investigate and tries to unfold the story behind the statement “ its time for war” which clearly means something huge is going to happen. We then Hiroshima and Nagasaki which gives clear thought for nuclear war affairs.
The next few scenes of the trailer focus on the cult of Guruji that is played by another effortless actor Pankaj Tripathi. Every time a deadly seen appears it gives a wind of satisfaction that brings us closure to the “Secret of Sacred Games” but, the mystery of this season has something else to say.
The more we go further the more trapped it seems. The next few scenes take us into some fast-paced series of some contradictory situations which is followed by a high voltage track “ Kaam Pachees”
The focus then shifted to some men wearing a suit and handling some radioactive substance which again hints towards a nuclear war. The next scene captures Guruji saying “ Sacrifices must be made”. An image on explosion screams it to be a nuclear war which is the third clue from the trailer so far.
A question is asked in the next scene. “ is this world worth saving? A question which is probably directed to the Inspector Sartaj Singh as he appears in the next scene.
The trailer comes to an end where a man asks Gaitonde on the phone “Bhagwan Ko Mante Ho? Do you believe in God? To which his response was an astonishing “What?”
