Godzilla: King of the Monsters Trailer Review:

The first official trailer of the movie was released on YouTube by Warner Bros. Pictures long ago on July 21, 2018, and has garnered over 26 million views. Mystic locations, majestic yet horrifying creatures and beautiful cinematography accompanied by alluring music make the trailer a treat to watch.

It gives a sneak peek into the plot of the movie which shows the power of the destructive creatures and creates a whole lot of spine chilling suspense for the viewers. After that, a series of trailers have been released with the final trailer releasing one month before the release date of the movie.

The monster has resided on the Earth for thousands of years and was introduced to the public for the first time in Godzilla, 2014. In Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the story continues after a leap of five years and things only get even more thrilling and intense this time. The main plot of the movie surrounds the conflict of members of the crypto-zoological agency called Monarch with the huge and dreadful monsters.

Now according to Vera Farmiga's Dr. Emma Russell, who is a paleontologist working for Monarch, the only way to put the mass extinction of life on earth to a halt is to find out the “rightful rulers” of the earth, the Titans, who are hiding from the humans and thus begins the search for those monsters to stop the planet and all of humanity from perishing. The “Titans”, Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah are going to be freed in King of the Monsters.

More ever, there are certain important things to be noticed regarding the plot. Firstly of all, Emma Russell, and her daughter, Millie Bobby Brown's Madison Russell, have been captured by some “mysterious organization", which seems to have its own slick intentions for the monsters. So it is possible that regardless of her claims in the trailer, she might have been compelled by the mysterious agency to say all that. Secondly, It was revealed by Farmiga that Emma has found a way to reach out to the Titans which could ultimately lead her to control them.

Even though the world probably isn’t getting over yet, as the next movie Godzilla vs.Kong is scheduled to be released in 2020, so far the story still appears to have some unpredictable twists and leaves us with lots of questions. Do Humans stand any chance of defeating these monsters?

Ford comes to know that a deep-sea expedition in 1954 had awakened Godzilla and in the 1950s some nuclear tests were performed which were actually attempts to kill him but it didn’t work out.

After that, Project Monarch was created to study Godzilla secretly. After a search operation, they find out a MUTO and have a horrifying conflict with it until Godzilla arrives to save them. It is followed by more fights in the following days, along with the arrival of an enormous female MUTO. Ultimately, the MUTOs have a perilous battle with Godzilla, while Ford blows up the MUTO nest, distracting the MUTOs enough to allow Godzilla to emerge victorious in the end, in the following morning, Godzilla suddenly awakens and returns to the sea, while the media declare him as, “The King of the Monsters.”
