“Cooking is like painting or writing a song. Just as there are only so many notes or colors, there are only so many flavors – it’s how you combine them that sets you apart.”

Cooking is undoubtedly interesting- both the process and the outcome. Given below are 2 recipes which I got from my friend and I would certainly recommend you all to try it out. It’s sumptuous and irresistible:-

1)Chicken Alfredo 

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Recipe Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS

  1. Salt
  2. Pepper
  3. 1 tbsp Butter
  4. Basil
  5. Oregano
  6. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  7. 2 tbsp olive oil
  8. 4 boneless chicken breast
  9. Flour
  10. 1 1/2 c milk
  11. Cheese
  12. Worcestershire sauce
  13. Chopped parsley, for garnish
  14. Lime zest
  15. Tabasco

PROCEDURE

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and season with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano and cook for 8-10 minutes
  2. In a pan heat butter; add garlic, flour, and milk
  3. To this add the previously fried chicken
  4. Season this with some Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and salt
  5. Add shredded cheese, parsley and lime zest
  6. Serve it with pasta

2) Ice-cream Sundae

Preparation Time: 55 minutes

Recipe Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 packet Oreo
  2. Vanilla Ice-cream
  3. Milk
  4. Cream Cheese
  5. Chocolate
  6. Caramel Sauce

PROCEDURE

  1. Take Oreo, separate the cream from the biscuit
  2. Mix the cream with vanilla ice cream
  3. Crush the biscuit and mix it with cream cheese and milk
  4. Pour the cream cheese in a bowl , freeze it and then add the ice-cream mix
  5. Freeze both the preparations and add a layer of full fat whipped cream on top
  6. Add chocolate and caramel sauce at the end
  7. Serve it chilled(freeze for at least 45 minutes)
