Redmi Note 8 Pro: Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi launched several smartphones in India this year. The company started 2019 with a bang with the launch of the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. These two Note 7 series phones were followed by several other phones like the Redmi 7, Redmi 7A, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 7S, and Redmi Go. Last week Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 series in the country and both the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro went on sale today. Now Redmi India is working on another smartphone. It is a phone with a 64MP camera onboard.

On Sunday, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing posted on Chinese microblogging site that he will be announcing details of some future Redmi products. Weibing is yet to confirm the products but one phone that Redmi is launching soon is a 64MP camera phone. Weibing posted some camera samples shot with the 64MP camera phone from Redmi and confirms the smartphone. On Monday, Xiaomi VP and India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain posted the same camera sample and hints at India launch of the Redmi 64MP camera phone.

As of now, there's no information on the name of the Redmi 64MP camera phone from the company but people believe it is the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Well, there are high chances that this 64MP camera Redmi phone is indeed the Redmi Note 8 Pro. We say on the basis of Xiaomi past records. With the Redmi Note 7, Pro Xiaomi brought the 48MP trend to the mid-range and now it is possible that with the Redmi Note 8 Pro Xiaomi is working to make the 64MP camera the new normal.

The Redmi Note 7 series has received great response from the Indian consumers and the same is expected of the next Redmi Note series that most likely is expected to be the Redmi Note 8. At least that is what we believe considering Xiaomi's past record. Meanwhile, there are also rumours that Xiaomi will soon launch its third-generation Android One series phone aka Mi A3 in India. The company is yet to officially confirm the India launch timeline of the Mi A3.
