The Kapil Sharma Show Season 2

While the first show premiered in April 2016, the season 2 held its pilot episode with the cast of Simmba- Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, and film's director Rohit Shetty. His earlier show Family Time with Kapil Sharma didn't go that well and didn't exactly win the heart of its audience.

This caused the show to have a pretty early demise. However, not staying back Kapil decided to host another show on Sony Entertainment Television with many other famous cast members like Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, and Rochelle Rao.

A prominent and notable guest of the show was Navjot Singh Sindhu. However, the second season showed Archana Puran Singh who is now a permanent guest in the show.

Celebrities often come to promote their upcoming films. But, many-a-times, non-Bollywood celebrities too make a special appearance too.

The upcoming episode on 9th June is set to invite Dutee Chand, Bhaichung Bhutia, and Sandeep Singh. Many times, other famous personalities like Baba Ramdev have too made a special appearance on the show.

The light-heartedness and family jokes are witty and charming and leave an enthralling feelgood feeling post the show.

The Kapil Sharma Show Review

Although The Kapil Sharma Show had mixed reviews from all of its fans and viewers. While some labelled it as " a waste of prime showtime", some added comments like "Kapil's like a fresh plate of jokes filled with wit and one-liners".

Many of the viewers didn't like the exit of Dr Gulati from the show as they felt that the only reasonable person on the show. Kapil Sharma's critics often have marked his jokes as old and stale. He often is seen flirting with the actresses, and not cracking good jokes or delivering one-liners. While Dr.Gulati Fans, criticized the misbehaviour of Kapil with his co-peers on the show, there were many who have deemed his show as entertaining and fit for all ages of audience.

Although, this show's best feature is that it asks the backstage helpers and the audience present there to be a part of the big screen by openly inviting them on the stage for a questionnaire round. The diamonds clad celebrity star cast for the second set boosts its popularity 10 times more due to the fact that many viewers often wait to see their favourite stars getting candid on the show.

After a hectic day at work, one can easily work into The Kapil Sharma Show and tune in to the world of laughter. However, if this is made into a habit and regular addition to your regime, one might find the jokes old and repeated a number of times over the episodes.

The Kapil Sharma Show Seasons

It concluded its episode with guest appearances of Arjun Rampal, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nishikant Kamat, Rajesh Shringarpure & Anand Ingale for the film Daddy.

The second show is still being aired on the big screens. The pilot episode of the second season had the cast of Simmba, with an additional surprise from Salman Khan, who later appeared on the show. The pilot episode was premiered on 29th December 2018, as a New Year's Eve gift from Kapil to his dedicated fans.

The entire decoration, cast and set resembles Comedy Nights with Kapil.

The Kapil Sharma Show Budget

To call Kapil Sharma as The Pied Piper of TRP won't be wrong. He earns a whopping 60-70 lakh for each episode. Creditably, he carries the entire show on his shoulders. With a running time of nearly 1 hour 30 minutes, this show is nearly worth one crore for each week's episodes. The other cast members charge 6-7 lakh for each episode.

With his current fallout with Colors, due to his falling TRPs of his previous show and for the prevailing health issues he had left the channel. Another reason for this fallout was due to the epidemic brawl between him and Sunil Grover, which they successfully resolved when Sony took up their show.
