RJ Naved is a radio jockey, entertainer and a voice-over Indian artist on the renowned radio channel “Radio Mirchi” where he runs the show “Dilli Ka Don”. He is known for his ability to mimic all kinds of voices and the way he prank calls people on his show. Not much is known about the radio jockey but we are here to unravel what we do know!

Naved Khan was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to an Islamic family. He had always dreamt of getting into the entertainment business. He finished his schooling from a local government school in his home town. Since a young age, he never excelled in academics and knew what his true goal in life was going to be.
He was always a comedian and managed to make everyone laugh around him. He had the rare and courageous art of mimicking people to perfection. He eventually shifted to the national capital of Delhi, to get away from home and start a career of his own.
When Naved first moved to Delhi he had no idea of the competition out there. To start off he started off as a customer service executive at Airtel to make some salary and support himself. Even here he was a delight to everyone and served as a buffer to handle an annoyed customer by all his colleagues.
It was in 2000 when he took his first steps towards the entertainment sector and participated in the RJ hunt organised by his future employer, Radio Mirchi.
Against all odds, and the tremendous amounts of competition, he beat thousands of contestant and claimed his victory, using his special talent of changing voices. He started working with Radio Mirchi since 2000 and has managed to keep his position.
Despite being in the showbiz for over 15 years, he has still not come out about his personal life with his fans, and remains a huge mystery, with the only things known about him are his multiple accolades.
Career as a Radio Jockey till date
The first name was given to the show hosted by him for “Dr Love”. After that multiple shows were hosted by him like “Total Filmi” and them “Sunset Samosa” and now finally he has taken on the persona of “Dilli ka Don”.
All the shows have one common element in them, that is, the different voiceovers, all portrayed by Naved. He has all kinds of voices ranging from that of a small girl to the voice of a macho man.
Throughout the duration of the show, Naved gets people’s attention by using this talent of his to fool and prank call randomly. He makes the job of RJing look so much more fun when he using his uncanny ability to make everyone laugh.
His TRP has always been sky high and he has managed to stay on the radio channel for such a long time without any kind of issues with its producers and owners. Over the years, he has also managed to prank some famous personalities like Raveen Tandon, Vidya Balan and so on.
Not much is known about the Famous RJ and entertainer, as he has managed to keep his private life under wraps for as long as he has been on the channel. He is married to a woman whose name is not known and has since had 2 daughters. He is described as a fun-loving man and besides voicing other people, he is also a great actor and painter.
Accolades and awards
Like any great entertainer, with a showcase full of trophies, Nawed Khan also has a great portfolio to show off. He has won multiple awards on not only his current show but also his previous shows. He won “the Best Sparkler Award” a total of 3 times and two years in a row at the India Radio Forum Awards, which is a highly prestigious award ceremony.
He has won the National Television award in the TV category once and been awarded the “Best RJ” award at the Golden Mike Awards. Besides these, he has also won the Indian Icon Award.
